Site Unseen

When we were invited back to take part in a new yearly site-specific festival, we decided it was time to build an entirely new show from scratch. Using a wing of the building (instead of the entire structure), “Hallwatchers” was an immersive experience which fully utilized both the audio and performers of unknown identity in a narrative with an unexpected twist. Brought in to help research and survey people with disorders that precluded them from normal interaction, the audience eventually realized that they were the ones with abnormalities when it comes to interacting with others. In groups of 6 beginning every 12 minutes, a total of 72 people saw the show. It also marked the first time that each group began the tour at the precise scheduled minute.
